Production Training

The foundation of food security lies in training in the respective fields, for example with the ITS Agricultural Skills Development programme aiming at educating the participants in efficient crop and livestock production.

At the end of the three year, ITS Agric Skills Training graduates are able to organise modern farming processes and techniques, using modern farming equipment. Furthermore, they fulfil the German standard of training level for the job description of a farmer. With the completion of this advanced training, graduates will be able to improve the productivity in the local agricultural sector and thus as well as feeding their families also enhance the development of the agricultural sector in the whole country. Another programme in the Production Training aims at reducing the dependence of imports. Instead of bringing in wooden products from other countries, the aim should be to produce tables, chairs, cupboards, doors, windows and even roofing and with this bring employment to the people instead of spending money importing goods. All this can all be achieved by local graduates after the ITS Wood Works training.
