Graduation Ceremony of the accredited mechatronics training course in Botswana
On February 17, the Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MESD) held this year's graduation ceremony at the Ba Isago University Campus for students from the brigades and technical colleges. 756 students graduated and are now free to join the local industry or start their own business.
This course started in February 2020 at CITF in Gaborone and the final exams were held in November 2022.
This three-year course, developed and taught by ITS International Training & Support GmbH, is the first of its kind to be delivered in Botswana. It is part of an initiative launched by the VDMA: "Skilled Laborer's for Africa". VDMA represents German industry, which has funded most of the training equipment. The program is supported by the German and Botswana governments.
